Mystic Flamingo Pink Quartz Necklace - Our Item of the Day!
Our shop's "Item of the Day" is this elegant orangish-pink quartz necklace, set by my father's hand into this lovely sterling silver setting.
This faceted quartz gemstone is a whopping 2.37 carats - it took hours for my dad to set this quartz into place. In order for the quartz to fit the setting, he had to slightly alter the setting by filing and shaping it to the size of the stone.
I love how saturated the quartz is - although it's technically a mystic flamingo pink quartz stone, it does have a very deep orange tone, especially depending on the light you have the stone in.
See the quartz stone from this angle? You can see the tinges of pink that lie around the outer edges of the stone. So pretty!
