Modern and Fun Greeting Cards on Etsy from TuxPress!
Today's Etsy spotlight post is for TuxPress, a hilarious new shop that offers fun and modern greeting cards and other stationary.
Run and designed by Emily from Bayside, New York, she decided to open her Etsy shop because for years Emily had been complaining to her
husband that she didn't like the humdrum options available for standard greeting cards.
With a degree in design and working as a graphic
designer, Emily decided to remedy this problem and create her own funny and entertaining line of stationary!
Emily and her husband had their first child in
April and she realized that there is never going to be a "good" time to
start the store and that there is no time like the present! Also, Emily wanted to
share her cards with the world rather than just letting her friends and
family mooch off her amazing talent, hehe! ;)
Let's take a look at my top 5 favorite items from her shop!
Witty and modern, you'll definitely not find anything like this at your local Hallmark store. The blank interior allows for you to write whatever you may want to your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, or just that special someone. I love this one!

This is another super cute blank greeting card! I love the unique and hip lingo used for the cover's slogan - this could be used for relatively any occasion you choose!

Looking for a colorful birthday card to send out? This beautifully designed greeting card has the words "hop you have a glorious one" printed on the inside, with plenty of space left for you to leave your own personal message or signature.

Christmas is right around the corner, and for those who like to send out yearly Christmas cards, this would be a very cute option! I really love the different size Christmas tree options for the cards. The different size trees actually represent represent the three favorite tree shapes of Emily's family members. Very sweet!

Along with greeting cards, TuxPress also offers beautiful art prints in their store. This 2014 calendar above takes twelve of Emily's art prints into one stationary piece!
Each flower or set of flowers represents the number of the month (ex. one for January, four for April, etc). Super cute!

For the future, Emily hopes to add a line of personalized stationery, and they will also be including calendars in the near
future as well as hand bound books.
