Etsy Store Spotlight: Catju Handmade Jewelry

This Etsy spotlight store post is for Catju Handmade Jewelry! This beautiful store is run by Kathy, from Baltimore, Maryland. I had a lovely written interview with this owner, and I'm so excited to be able to present the gorgeous creations below!

The first items that caught my eye (there were many, mind you!) were the sparkling gemstone necklace and earrings sets. My favorite was this saturated vintage cardinal Swarovski set!

The deep royal purple shade of this Swarovski set is almost delectable - the cardinal Swarovski crystals have not been produced in many years, so jewelry sets like this have become increasingly rare to find.

Kathy stated that some of her most favorite supplies to use for her jewelry is Swarovski stones - I can definitely see why! Kathy has been making jewelry for over 15 years now, and has had her Etsy store open since 2011. Her exquisite craftsmanship is certainly apparent - such an amazing quality!

I'm really a huge fan of earthy tones, and this gorgeous olive green necklace and earring set is a lovely compilation of colors.

Made from Czech firepolish beads, this would make a beautiful creation to drape on your neck and ears, like a waterfall of crystals to decorate your wardrobe.

Among the numerous earring and necklace sets also lies these beautiful Venetian glass earrings! These baubles would truly look lovely with any outfit.

This pretty set, made with light blue and gold mottled Venetian Glass gold foil lentil beads, as well as Swarovski bicone beads, are made beautifully.

This gorgeous pair, made with white Venetian Glass silver foil lentil beads, are another one of my personal favorites from this store! I love the snow white, silvery shade of these beads. The best part is that they are a good jewelry investment, as they will match nearly every outfit you have in your closet.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm a huge fan of soft earthy tones, and this scrumptious olive green pair of Venetian glass bead earrings are delicate and lovely all at once!

Although there are numerous types of jewelry available in Kathy's store, the Swarovski teardrop collection really drew my attention! These faceted crystal earrings are incredibly unique - the color is called Montana Blue, and it is from Swarovski's new 2014 spring collection!

Another lovely item from the Swarovski earring section are these sparkling faceted crystal earrings! This particular color, known as Provence Lavender-Chrysolite, is another brand new shade from Swarovski's 2014 spring collection.

Kathy has numerous future plans for Catju Handmade Jewelry, including expanding her merchandise to include more bridal and bridesmaid jewelry. Eventually, Kathy would like to assist more charities through the sales of her items on Etsy.

These are wonderful goals Kathy, and I wish you much happiness and success as you continue with your Etsy store!

  1. I love the royal purple cardinal Swarovski necklace and earring set. It is really pretty. And it seems to give a vintage look. But I just wonder, since this type of Swarovski crystal is rare to find, does this mean that this jewelry set is quite expensive?

    1. Hi! That set is one of my favorites as well - despite the fact that the cardinal Swarovski gems are getting rarer, the set is $44.00, so it's quite affordable, especially considering that it's handmade and the materials are quite impressive.
