Etsy Store Spotlight Post: CoverMeAlways
This Etsy store spotlight post is for CoverMeAlways, a beautiful new store which offers lovely crocheted items; mainly afghan throws and adorable baby cocoons and hats!
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, the owner of this shop learned to crochet, knit and cross-stitch from her aunts when she was only 11!
Ever since then, the owner's love for crochet has led them to charitable actions, such as giving away handmade blankets and afghans to those in nursing homes and patients in random hospitals.

Here is another beautiful handmade afghan throw that CoverMeAlways offers! This could truly be a gift for anyone; the neutral, earth-like tones make this throw the perfect gift for a wife, husband, daughter, son, friend...the list goes on!
I really enjoy the intricate color patterns of this piece; the olive, cream and brown tones remind me of some of the antique throws that I have had in the past.

Next up is the main portion of CoverMeAlways - the baby accessories line! Currently, the shop owner has made available an astounding list of football themed baby cocoons and matching hats, just in time for the upcoming football season.
As winter approaches, the shop owner has promised to offer even more baby merchandise, such as hats, scarves, gloves, and of course, more afghans!

In the interview that I had with the shop owner, they stated that they created this store as a way to connect with people, and share their heart through the items they make. The store owner stated that God constantly covers them, from blankets to hats, and it is a constant reminder of His love and protection. I heartily agree!
The store owner hopes to grow their line nationally, and eventually be able to give items away in line with the theme of the store. They pray that people feel a sense of love, security and protection when they wear their items, as everything is handmade from the heart!
