Etsy Store Spotlight: Elemental Aromatics
This Etsy store spotlight post is for ElementalAromatics, a great new Etsy shop that offers handmade incense cones and aromatic bath and body products.
Joanna, the shop owner of ElementalAromatics, states the foundation of her store is the wonderful incense cones. I completely agree! There are many different types of cones, ranging from classic scents, to meditative and signature scents. Below, I've highlighted a couple of my personal favorites that I found.
This particular cone that Joanna offers has a lovely vanilla scent mixed in with the right amount of lavender. Her incense features a 100% natural base with no charcoal nor
salt peter! Only pure herbs, flowers, spices, resins and wood are used.
The vast
majority are 100% natural using the best quality essential oils from
nature or naturally derived fragrance oils. Only a limited amount
feature small quantities of synthetic fragrance oil to help bring scents
from nature which cannot captured well.

Joanna was inspired by the ideals of aromachology (how scent effects ones
mood and mental state). Incense cones such as the Peaceful Dragon are made specifically for those who meditate, and is a great calming scent.
The particular cone is made from patchoulli, sandalwood, tonka beans, and dragon's blood; unlike many meditative incense cones, this does not contain palo santo or cinnamon. So, for those who do not prefer those scents, but still want the great relaxing effects, this is the perfect option!

Yummy! I absolutely love aromatics that are coffee scented; they have such a fresh and rich scent to them. This cone is made of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla blend with real coffee and coffee oil. Imagine filling your home with such an invigorating scent!

Since I'm featuring so many of Joanna's incense cones, I thought that it would be great to include her specialized directions for burning these, should you be interested in purchasing them.
DIRECTIONS FOR LIGHTING INCENSE CONES:
To burn these cones, hold them sideways
and light the tip- you might want to use a candle for this as they are a
bit more difficult to light than those chemical cones.. Let the tip
burn out, or blow out when the whole tip is a red ember. Place in a fire
proof container, ceramic is best, metal is worst, and enjoy the natural
scent! Please never burn unattended!

ElementalAromatics also offers some great 100% natural bath and body products - this particular product is made to be placed into a tea bag, and allowed to "steep" in a nice hot bath. After allowing to steep, you jump in and enjoy the amazing and calming scents!

I was really drawn to the handmade, 100% natural exfoliating masques! I really like the strawberry-banana smoothie masque - with a base of yogurt powder, and ground oatmeal, it provides a gentle exfoliation that is not abrasive to the skin.
What I'm really impressed with is the fact that there are different skin type options for this facial masque, so it can be attuned to your needs!

Joanna mentions that she started this store out of her passion and love for creating aromatic products; since she enjoyed making them for herself and her loved ones, she decided to share it with the world!
