The owner of this Etsy shop, Ashley (from Indialantic, Florida) sat down with me for an interview to discuss her merchandise, her inspiration, and the passion she has for creating invitations customized to your needs!
Q: Describe your Etsy shop to me - what inspires you the most?
A: I sell printable holiday, party and event invitations, cards, and
matching items. I really love chalkboards, vintage typography and
calligraphy.

Q: Why did you decide to venture out and open your Etsy shop?
A: I'm a graphic designer as my day job. I started my Etsy shop initially
as something fun and creative to do on the side. I love that I get to
choose what I design. There's something very fulfilling and rewarding in
creating a design and then having someone want to purchase that design.

In conclusion, I finished up my interview with Ashley with one final question (and probably one of the most important!):
Q: What are you future plans for your Etsy store? What do you hope for the future?
A: I hope to continue expanding my shop and the options I offer. I've
recently started offering printable templates--where the customer can
purchase, say an invitation, and edit their own party detail text. So
far it's been a win-win and I've received a lot of positive feedback.
Customers don't have to wait for me to place their text for them or make
a change for them if their plans change. I hope to offer more
templates in the future. I also hope that I can turn this from a
side/hobby business to a real business as I keep expanding. Right now
I'm working on finishing up holiday items. Next I'll be working on
expanding my wedding and bridal shower invitation lines for the spring.
