Q: Describe your Etsy shop to me - what are the things that bring you inspiration?
A: Studying Japanese calligraphy for the past 7 years, among other great
qualities, connected me back to the very basics: paper, ink, brush,
line.
The great joy, serenity and clean fresh mind I get while
working with genuine materials together with my curiosity for
experimenting with endless techniques pushed me to study goldsmith and
jewelry design in my ‘free’ time.

Q: What prompted you to open your Etsy shop?
A: Designing so many years for different high-tech companies of various
fields, mainly in the digital virtual space, I missed creating and
working with real, raw genuine materials. With a surprising courage
(hopefully not stupidity) I chose to leave the comforts of the virtual
environment, follow my passion and make my dream come true.
I put together a small compact studio in our family living room. Heaving two energetic, curious and creative kids and a new baby, running around makes it a real challenge but great fun as well. It also forces me to keep my studio clean and safe by the end of the day (I guess it is, in a way, a good thing…)
