Wire Wrapping with the Hubby

My husband and I were hanging out in the computer room/office/jewelry factory looking up stuff on the computer when he noticed my mess of unfinished jewelry beading supplies. He was looking specifically at some of the new wire wrapping designs that I was working on.

He had mentioned before that he wanted to try to wire wrap a pendant; he said he thought it looked neat, and that we could buy welder's wire cheaper than fancy jewelry wire (if you hadn't guessed, my husband used to be a welder, but I tried to explain to him that my customer's probably wouldn't take that too well) XD.

I showed him the basics of making your own bale with the wire, and then he just took off with it; his designs look a million times better than my own!

Gorgeous! I love both of these pendants so much. <3
Wire wrapping pendants, for me, is a love/hate relationship. I like the way it looks when it's finished, but all of the measuring, the wrapping, the tweaking....meh! I get very lazy about it, so I'm glad to have found my new personal slave, I mean, personal wire wrapper......

.................

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

*clears throat* Excuse me, just got a little excited there. Now off to badger my husband to make more pretties so I can prepare and bead the matching necklace strands. >:D

    1. Thanks! I'm really new to wire wrapping, but it can get pretty addicting once you figure out the basics. Love your blog by the way! :)
