4 Exquisite Shabby Chic Decorations on Etsy - Introducing Huckleberry Vintage!
Today we have a second Etsy spotlight post! This spotlight post is for an awesome Etsy shop that sells upcycled shabby chic decorations, Huckleberry Vintage!
Until I started selling on Etsy, I wasn't familiar with the shabby chic style, but since being introduced to it via meeting other Etsy sellers on the forums, I've become a really big fan.
The owner of this shop is Heidi, from Medford, Oregon (so this store is a great option for those looking to buy items from within the USA).
I asked Heidi what her inspiration was for opening her Etsy store, and she replied -
"I love to transform older, outdated household items in to something
that someone can cherish for years to come. I love it when I get emails
from clients telling me how perfect an item was for their home, or as a
gift for someone else. I am constantly inspired by the vision of my
customers who always give me great new ideas!"
I always love to hear the background story of an Etsy shop, since I've met so many sellers who started their stores for a multitude of reasons, from mainly financial to sharing their personal hobby as a lifelong passion.
This shop offers a plethora of merchandise - some of these upcycled, rustic style items include frames, book lots, fine china, silver, salt and pepper sets, vases, and fabrics.
Before
I forget, I want to really emphasize how impressed I was with the
photography of this store's merchandise. Small items like jewelry
and soap is hard enough to photograph in an appealing manner, much less
bulkier items such as large jewelry boxes and big decor items. So I really
want to say how truly amazed I was to see such gorgeous and appealing
photography for items like this. Heidi, you've done an awesome job!

I LOVE this antique pink shabby chic jewelry box! Made of old mele wood, the crackle treatment on the two doors are so pretty and vintage looking. Very cute!

These lovely shabby chic candle votive holders come in a set of 10 - these aqua Mason jars have been painted and clear coated to protect their color.
These would be perfect for many different types of occasions, such as birthdays, baby showers, weddings or summer parties. They could be used to hold goodies such as candies or candles, or even fresh flower bouquets.

This set of four candle holders have been beautifully distressed in a mint green paint. I really love this antiqued, rustic style. So pretty!

This vintage glazed dish was made in 1967 and is in excellent condition! There are no chips, cracks, crazing, stains on this dish. The dish has multiple scalloped designs including swirls and raised areas that make this dish absolutely unique.

Heidi, who started this shop as a stay-at-home-mom who wanted to start a new venture, quickly found that this turned into something much more than just a second income for her family.This shop has become a passion that provides a wonderful creative outlet for her, and a way to connect to others all across the world.
For the future, Heidi hopes to continue to grow her shop and continue to branch into more different types of vintage and shabby chic merchandise.
