New Etsy Social Media App!
As an Etsy seller, it doesn't take long to learn that it takes a ton of work to build up your brand name and online presence.
I think the largest mistake that newbies (including myself) make is that they have a "build it and they will come" thought process. It takes much more than this, especially if you're selling in a saturated category, like jewelry or bath and body.
Building your inventory, taking great product photography, learning how to navigate SEO, writing the proper titles and tags and reaching out to customers via social networks can be extremely overwhelming. Which is why it's great when Etsy sellers can find apps to make things easier!
Apps, which not all Etsy sellers use, are various tools that can be downloaded via Etsy to help with various aspects of running your store. BETSI, a bulk-editing tool, is probably one of the most popular (I just learned how to use this myself). Along with BETSI, more and more apps are becoming available as Etsy expands and gains more sellers. The demand is definitely becoming greater.
Reaching out via social networking can really bring good traffic to your store (especially when built up over time). I know that personally, just for our store, we use Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr. When you have a family life, college, hobbies and your regular job on top of that, reaching out on all of the platforms and be an extremely daunting task. This is why I'm so excited to feature this new Etsy app!

Looking for a way to easily stream line your store's Facebook and Twitter posts? Right from your item's page? I'd like to introduce around.io, which is featured on "Apps for Etsy".
Developed by Natwar Maheshwari, this brand new Etsy app is a great feature for busy sellers. No copying/pasting needed (as many of us are so used to). I found the application super simple to use.
Natwar has a great video available which explains this easy-to-use app - check it out below!
I know that my personal pet peeve is definitely creating future Facebook posts for my store's fan page - for some reason, I feel that it's way more time consuming and complicated than necessary. This is what makes this app so great - I only need to use this for less than a minute and I'm done!
In the interview that I had with Natwar, he stated that he hopes that this app becomes a "go to" feature for Etsy sellers. I found it great to use - I think that you are well on your way!
