Holly Madison's Two Million Dollar Engagement Ring!
A few days ago, Holly Madison (the famous playboy bunny ex of Hugh Hefner), announced that she was engaged to wealthy music festival producer Pasquale Rotella.
While the media congratulated the star on her upcoming nuptials, many in the blogsphere were questioning the choice of the engagement ring, which was actually designed personally by Pasquale himself!
This massive 18-kt yellow diamond ring is worth a whopping 2 MILLION dollars!!! Some articles and online commentators have claimed that the ring is too gaudy or in poor taste.
What's my take on this ring?
I actually really like it! I love yellow diamonds, and the colors remind me of a fluffy, spring cotton candy palette. I think that it is a fun and new design - I may not have chosen this for my engagement ring, but if I had two million dollars to blow, heck, I'd wear it!
I mean, come on girls, if you were going to marry a millionaire, would you really turn down a 2 million dollar gift of commitment and love? Besides, I think it looks quite exquisite on her hand.
What do you guys think? Would this be a ring that you would like or choose for yourself?
Wow! That ring is beautiful and extremely expensive. I love the ring but I know that is not in my fiance's budget. We decided to look into discount diamonds that for certain will not be as busy as that ring but will still be beautiful.
