How To Wear Chunky Jewelry: Four Fashion Tips To Follow!

Hello everyone! I know it's been quite a few days since my last post; this past weekend my little sister had her school chorus competition out of town, so we all proudly went to cheer her on. ^_^

I wanted to talk today about some tips and styling tricks on how to wear chunky jewelry. Many people find chunky jewelry fascinating and beautiful, but have no idea how to wear it! Imagine all that gorgeous jewelry collecting dust in a drawer or hidden away in an armoire. No more I say!

Tip One: 

When wearing large and colorful statement jewelry, try to keep your clothing a solid color - no crazy patterns or florals. This takes the attention away from your gorgeous jewelry!

This is an excellent example of pairing large chunky jewelry with muted, yet elegant solid clothing.

 Tip Two:
When wearing a large chunky necklace, keep your other jewelry, accessories, and makeup toned down and elegant. 

This way, you avoid the "eccentric-old-lady-who-wears-all-the-jewelry-she owns-at-once" appearance.

Tip Four:

When wearing big, chunky earrings, the best way to have your hair is...UP!

Why, you may ask? Most chunky statement earrings have some component to them that your hair can get stuck or tangled on. If you have short hair, this is not a biggie for you, but for the girls with long hair...it can be very painful if you're not careful!

If you prefer to wear your hair down, try pulling just the top portion of your hair back! This way your long, flowy locks and still be free without them getting super tangled in your mane. 

 

This is another example of sweeping the top portion of your hair back, so that you can still leave your hair down, but you can let your gorgeous earrings take the spotlight!

A low chignon that is pinned at the nape of the neck is another elegant updo option when wearing large, chunky earrings. It's a quick and easy hair style as well, so very convenient and appropriate for the workplace.
